Residential High-Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate Program
On Jan. 1, 2008, SCWA and several other water agencies joined PG&E in a partnership to promote the installation of high-efficiency washing machines, designed to conserve water and energy. The High-Efficiency Washing Machine Rebate Program provides a combined rebate of $125 or $200 from SCWA and PG&E for Solano County residents* who purchase and install qualified high-efficiency clothes washers.

Applications are available at stores where high-efficiency washing machines are sold. Be sure to provide the name of your water utility and your account number (if you don't, your rebate application will be delayed until the account status is verified.) If you live in a townhouse or apartment and don’t pay a water bill, contact your landlord, home owner's association or property management company for the name of your water company. Mail your application after the machine has been installed. If application forms are not available, call the program’s administrator, PG&E, at (800) 933-9555.

California Water Service customers in the City of Dixon are not eligible. This offer applies to qualified water-efficient clothes washers purchased new, after January 1, 2008 , at retail price. Travis Air Force Base residents, because they are not PG&E customers, only qualify for the water portion of the rebate which is $90 for Tier 2 and $125 for Tier 3 rated machines. Rebates are available for purchasing qualified washers until December 31, 2008, or until funds run out, whichever comes first. All rebate applications must be postmarked no later than 90 days after purchase date.
